Parent Leadership Team
The Henderson Parent Leadership Team consists of a group of parents and staff members who meet together throughout the school year to discuss school-related activities and issues. Our goal is to promote the intellectual, physical and social well being of our children and youth in our homes, in school and in our community.
The PLT engages in a variety of fund-raising efforts in order to contribute to school functions such as school field trips, special events, fun family activities, and other school needs as they arise. Typically we have a book fair in November. We also sponsor the annual spring family activity we call the Henderson Día del Niño Carnival in May.
Childcare, transportation, Spanish and DHH interpretation is provided for each meeting as needed. We hope you can attend – this is a great opportunity to meet other parents and share your ideas for Henderson.
